Privacy Policy

Welcome to BigBlindTheory — your guide to smarter poker.

This page explains how we handle your data (spoiler: we keep things clean and simple).

Respecting your privacy

We take your privacy seriously — like seriously-seriously.
We don’t sell your data, spam your inbox, or follow you around the internet like a busted draw.

If you email us, we’ll only use your email to reply. That’s it.
No promo, no newsletter (unless you ask for it — and even then, we’ll keep it tight).

What we track (and why)

We use tools like Google Analytics to understand what content people read and enjoy.
This data helps us improve the site — but it doesn’t tell us who you are.

We may track:

  • Page views
  • Time on site
  • Where users came from (e.g. search engines, referrals)
  • Clicks on links to partner sites

But:

  • We don’t collect names, addresses, or phone numbers.
  • We don’t know who you are, just what browsers do.

Comments

If you leave a comment, WordPress saves your name (if you give one), your comment, and your IP address (standard stuff).
We don’t do anything else with that info — it just lives on the page where you left it.

Poker site links

We sometimes link to poker rooms or strategy platforms.
These are external sites with their own privacy policies. If you click through, we recommend reading their policies, too — just like you’d check a table before sitting down.

We only recommend sites we’ve reviewed and tested, and we avoid anything shady.
Still, once you leave BigBlindTheory, you’re under their rules, not ours.

Affiliate disclosure

Some of our links may be affiliate links — meaning we could earn a small commission if you click and register.

But here’s the thing:
– We don’t hype garbage.
– If a site is bad, soft, or a rake trap — we’ll say so.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. That’s your cue.
